ok my friend is a nissan fanatic, he drives a 240sx and he recently got an SR20 swap, for those of you who don't know thats a japanese engine that supposedly when put in a 240 pushes 200+ HP at the wheels, and considerind how light weight the car is it would make it fast.
well anyways he always talked shit on how he would put my satng to sleep when he'd get the swap. so i reminded him of what he said. so last night around 12 we went to this road where no one ever bothers us when we race, i know i said i was going to stop street racing, and i am but i needed to do this. we lined up and he kept through my first but by the end of second i was about a car and a half in front and by the end of the race i was about 4 and half cars ahead!!! i whipped him and he got very dissapointed, and started saying only if he bought the RB26 swap (skyline engine) i was like whatever!!

Nice kill. You're friend was an idiot to think he could take down your stang with 4 cylinders, lol. Comparing 8 cylinders to 4 cylinders...is like comparing apples to oranges. Tell him to dump a couple more grand into that rice rocket and maybe he'll be a good race for ya. I'm sure by then though...you'll have spent a measly $300-$500 and have gained several more car lengths on him. Ha-ha!

Way to put him in his place. If he ups the boost you could be in trouble, though. Those motors do have potential. My friend had a 240SX with the SR20DETT or whatever it is that was modded and it ran pretty hard.

Yeah watch if he turns up the boost, If he switches to a bigger turbo you are toast. A friend of mine upped the boost on his and ran 13.0's another friend put a big turbo on his and went 11.3@129 the other night!

well my friend did some stuff to his SR since i last replied.
he's now boosting at 13 psi and he added a MR.FREEZE type thing in his car that gave him about 40 HP. we haven't raced yet but i think he might beat me.

about the same 5 grand including car. he was able to add the mr freeze because of the turbo a N/A car can't use it. and you could make a home made one or you could buy the kit for like $100, he made it himself.
