Best Shifter????
I REALLY need a new shifter in my car & wanted some info, is the "PRO-5.0" really the best shifter out there?
I am looking into the pro50, b&m ripper, or the hurst. it will cost me $230 for the b&m, 240 for the hurst, & I dont know how much for the pro50 ($$$ is canadian). what would you reccomend, i dont want to buy a new one any time soon because of the price. thanks ------------------ 1988 Mustang GT, T-5 No Smog Pump (Shorty Belt), Dumps At The End Of Stock H-Pipe (Sounds Mean), K&N Air Filter (Stock Air Box, Removed air silendcer), 198.9 rwhp @4200 (235 Motor!!), 285 lbs-ft @2900 (336 Motor!!!). Honestly, I've tried the Pro5.0, and I like it, but the dang handle was too short for me, so I bought a Steeda Tri-Axe, and I love it. It's not too much more than a 5.0, I think it's actually cheaper. I paid 200 bucks even for mine. But that's because Mark Ray gave me a good deal on one that was just sitting there wasting away(it was still in the box unopened). Anyway, that's my opinion.

Dude there are other forums besides the street racing one. Why don't you try posting tech questions in one of them, maybe you get more answers.

I have a BM shifter and 3rd gear is a pain in the *** . I would sell that garbage for a McDonald's #10 with a coke.
