16.272 @ 83.11mph
yep, thats right, i ran a 16.272 @ 83.11mph.
R/T... .916 60.... 2.319 330... 7.044 1/8... 10.656 MPH... 68.52 1000.. 13.677 1/4... 16.272 MPH... 83.11 i bogged off the line, blew the 2nd gear shift(quadrant slipped out while doing burnout, and i put it in 2nd with about half the clutch working) and then, it rained, so i could not improve on that time. i need exhaust, shifter, and a new quadrant, then i could hopefully break 14s. ------------------ 1988 Mustang GT, T-5 3.08's, No Smog Pump (Shorty Belt), Dumps At The End Of Stock H-Pipe, K&N Air Filter (Stock Air Box), Removed Air SilencerMy Stang My Site (Not Done Yet) |

You car made 198rwhp before on the dyno. SO if you drive it well you can hit 14's no problem.

well, my car was running there without all of the motor (ignition, computer...) working.
i went over the wiring saturday, and the dumb *** who owned it before me cut the ground from the motor to the firewall, so i plan on low 15s, high 14s this friday, if it doesnt rain. Should i get a shifter, or a dynomax super turbo cat back this week??? im leaning towards the shifter, so i can bang it in 2nd better. Thanks. |

Sky is right, you should hit 14's fairly easy with a little good driving.
I can move my heavy car (3700 lbs with me in it) without using nitrous and get 14.6-14.7 all day Get the SHIFTER...you will not regret it...to this day I still think it is one of my favorite mods because you appreciate the feel of it every time you shift! -ed |

That sucks.....nothing like a wasted trip to the track, but $hit happens . The bright side is that you will improve drastically next time you get out there. Similar wiring "butcher job" to my car a while back.
