I for one would like to know how you got the engine in the first place. Along with the computer and wiring harness. Sounds like alot of work to do to a car. Who helped you put it all together? Does it bolt right up to the bellhousing from the 4.6? Just curious!

I hope you guys don't mind a LS1 guy joining in on your discussion group. We have plenty of stangs at ours.
Just wanted to say good kills man. I've been wanting to jump on an 02 Z06 for a while, but can't seem to find one. Although, with your mods, they both should have walked you pretty easily. None the less, good kills.

BTW, hope you hang around firehawk, there is a few f-bod guys around, I just dont understand why you think, with his mods the ss should have walked him? a 4v cobra with 373 grs would be a handful for an ss, trust me.
Now you guys want to talk aobut gearing, i dont know the mod motor well, i do know if i had a cobra it would have 4.10-4.30, i tried to post a streetrace video of a n/a 99 cobra vert destroying a s/c saleen from a 20 punch, the cobra has 4.56 grs, and he has a live axle in it, also, he drives it from arizona to tx ocassionally, Let me tell you, this car doesnt look like it was running out of gear, it kept pulling, if anyone wants the vid shoot me a mail....peace

Welcome to the board Firehawk and I can understand the surprise. I run into many slow Cobras that make me realize how they definitely can hurt the reputation for the quicker ones. Many people get caught up in the rwhp difference of the cars too. It doesn't always come down to this. Too many other factors involved. The quickest SS I pulled on was a guy with 324rwhp. I think the car is set up to use the best of what it has to offer "on the street". Plus, the high rpm range, decent gearing and good power throughout the rev band to redline are what makes the difference or at least helps.
