Re: Went to the track last night...
Hee, hee, sounds like you had fun. I think when you get to Texas, your closest NHRA 1/4 mile track will be in San Antonio, but that's just a guess.

Re: Went to the track last night...
yea man it was a blast. I was sooo close to that 13 sec slip. I am yanking the headlight next time to try and get it.
There is a 1/4 track in Edinburg, TX. That will be close to where I will be.

Re: Went to the track last night...
Yes, that's what I'm after now, a 12's time slip. I think I'll need a Paxton and drag radials to get it though. Glad to hear there's a closeby 1/4 mile track. I somehow just can't get off to a 1/8 mile track. I guess it's just what you are used to. I could actually probably compete better against newer cars in the 1/8 mile due to my "brick like" shape and high air friction coefficient. I still prefer the 1/4 though.

Re: Went to the track last night...
Yea a faster time always seems to be what everyone wants. I took it to the track last night and i did not yank the healight yet. I went 14.08 @ 98.36 on a 2.13 60'. It was soo packed.
Yea its cool that a track is close, and it seems to have a lot of action there.

Re: Went to the track last night...
I am looking to South Texas....McAllen...South Padre. Are you near there? Yea i tried the headlight before and it did not help at all, but I will try it again.
Yea, Moroso does not hook that well, especially when compared to BMP.

Re: Went to the track last night...
I wish I was near South Padre. I am in the freaking desert between El Paso and Dallas.
Your car would really run like crap at 3000ft were I am at.

Re: Went to the track last night...
I'm in Houston at about 50 ft. above sea level. The bad news is that it's often 100 F and very humid. Hot wet air doesn't help at all. But then everybody you run against has to face the same conditions.
