830HP with 3500lb runs a 9.41 quartermile given ideal conditions by the analyser here.
It's mind blowing fast for a street car man. |

The viper doesn't have a very good suspension for drag racing, I thought it should trap about 145 mph(or more) with that much power, I guess it doesn't get to the ground that well. Man that would be an E-ticket ride though!

Not impressed. With that much HP, he should be hitting low 9's.......possibly breaking off an 8 on a good day.

13sec95vert is right...once you hit a certain power level, it takes more hp to get you faster...you know for a 13 sec car, 10 hp is good for about a tenth, but when you get to that high of a level it takes more like 20-30 hp to get a tenth of a second...anyways, It is faster than my car is now or ever will be, so I have no complaints, BUT if I had $167,000, I would have a helluva lot faster car than that, but I highly doubt it would be 50 state legal.

With this car you have to look at the whole package, not just the 1/4 time as it not optimized for just drag racing. It goes 0 to 100 and back to 0 in 10 seconds. 0 to 60 in 3.2 on street tires and 2.43 on slicks and tops out at around 230 mph - this is a mind blowing street car, period.

Car trend tested it on not so good track conditions and got it up to 193 m/h in a mile. They say they might even be able to top it in that distance. Much respect for a street legal car like this. Can you imagine how easy it is to smoke those tires? aaahhhh the enjoyment.
