Run in with a well build 347 !!!
I was just driving home from "The spot" last night and a multicolored ugly looking Fox body coupe started to jump at me. Well, I took the bait and from a mid 2nd gear roll 3 times in a row he got me by 2 or 3 cars every time. I was thinking to myself that either hes got bottle or a lot more cubic inches than my little 302. We pull off at a gas station and he asked me what I had done. I told him and he was suprized that I just had a 302 because I was right there with him until the top of third gear. I asked why?? He said the he had a 347. I told him that I run 109 in the 1/4. He said he runs 115. He told me that my car ran good and I told him the same about his. I drove off thinking that I need to build a 331 for my next project. And at the same time I was wishing that I never took the bottle off of my car.

oh yea, it's not hard to trap that with a 347, my friend has an old beat up foxbody with a forged internal b-cammed, 10:1, ported heads and the works, well he traps 115 on the motor also, down low i kept up with him, but about 3rd gear he completely rapes me pulling away like im stopped, heh, im ready for a 331 with a bottle myself.
btw 5ohcoupe, are you running that combo on stock injectors? nice setup man, i want to try and run 12's with stock injectors if i can.
