Theres a couple small imperfections in the end of two exhaust ports. Looks like I'm going to have to touch em up with the dremel. Its a tiny bump right at the end where the header mounts up. Other than that theyre immaculate.

One thing to remember about ours cars is the computer sucks. Even after you install your intake and heads, the car may not run good. It may even run a bit worse, like mine did, after I installed my GT-40Y heads. Your car will need tuning, be it a dyno-tune with custom chip or some other custom tuning device. My car stuttered and hesitated during acceleration on a regular basis. Unfortunetly I never had the car dyno-tuned in its naturally aspirated form so I can't say what my numbers were. However, if you check the readers rides on this site and look under 94-98 conv., a guy by the name of fweathers has an excellent write-up on his GT-40 set-up and his gains from his dyno-tune/custom chip. He went from like 255/290 to 270/305 at the wheels with his tune. I really recommend it, very good info and reading. Good luck.

So fairweather was only putting down 255 rwhp after his heads and intake? I put down 230 rwhp and 299 rwt a few months ago with a bad MAF sensor. Im sure its doing better now.

Im really hoping to break 300 rwhp before the dyno tune. I think Sky is putting down nearly 340 rwhp with a smog cam and shorties.

I thought that the only prob with 94-95 cpus was that they pulled timing out of automatics for softer shifts. Am I wrong? What else is wrong with them?
