Question.. E430 vs. 5.0
alright, my friend is a jew bastard, nothing against jews, lol, but ... anyway, he is this rich kid that goes to school with me
his dad just go the porsche turbo, and they have an LS400, and an E430. i'm getting a 5.0 in a 93 LX body with vortech headers, converted to mass air flow, 2 3/4 free flow piping, ... i think that's it stick obviously, and we just put a new clutch on, i can't remember what type it was, it wasn't stock though but, i was wondering if the stang could take the mercedes or lexus, he brags about how fast his PARENTS cars are, and they just want to show him what a $2,000 car can do. Any thoughts would be helpful, thanks |

All of this assumes you are a good driver:
You could take the LS400. The E430 would give you a run. The Porsche would absolutely destroy you. Don't even try to race it, because you would lose by 20 car lengths. Good luck racing the other two.

alright, 2 questions
1) when i race the lexus, do i need to launch or can i just go from like 500 rpms? 2)i need to launch with the e430, right? also, what if he is power braking, will that give him a big boost? another, the mercedes has more top end than me, right? so at what speed do you think he will catch up/pass me? |

You should have no problem beating the lexus and the mercedes runs about a 14.8 so if you get a good launch you should win.The porsche turbo has 415hp and runs a 11.9.
