E/T correction for temp
Does anyone know how to correct E/Ts for altitude and temp? I ran once when it was like 60 degrees and went 14.6 @ 94 and after a few mods, tonight it was about 90 and I went 14.7 @ 95. I was pissed. Does the temp make that much diff? Thanks guys. By the way, the altitude at the track I was at was 1200 ft above sea level.

At that altitude, I would say no, it doesn't matter that much at all. Sorry, you just had a bad night bro. Temperature does matter, however. That 30 degree difference will hurt by about a tenth or 2. Maybe, I dunno. Ask Unit5302. He's a wiz at this stuff.

Thanks guys, I used the computer on that site you posted and with the same barometric pressure and a 25 degree difference it says I should have run about the same time. But, I'm almost positive the pressure was different because it was about to storm last night. So with a little less barometric pressure (one inch of mercury) it says I should be at a 14.3 @ 97, so I need to find out what the barometric pressure was last night I guess. Thanks for the link man.

I ran today after doing after putting on pulleys and ran a 15.5 best, previously when stock i ran a 15.2. This is at the same strip, about 800ft elev., and it was witht he same group of mustangers both times (20+) people. Today the temp was about 90, last time it was 55ish. Everyone was running really slow and everyone was having trouble hooking. Don't know why the latter, but i'd say that the temp and humidity had an effect.
