beat a 5.0 but barely
Well I came to a stop at a red light. there is a early 90's 5.0 stang in the lane next to me. The two lanes merged into one lane about 1/4 mile up so I figure I'll take off a little fast and get in front of him. no big deal. well the light turns green and the guy took off like a bat out of hell. No rev. warning or anything.(surprise attack) so of course I floor it. Well he got allmost a car jump on me. we where dead even first and second, until i grab third. I finally catch him in third and then grab fourth. the lanes are starting to merge but I was determined. I pulled him by about a car and a half before I got in front of him. It was a fun race. his 5.0 definately didn't sound stock. I wanted to talk to him but he turned before I could ask. Man winning is so much more fun than loosing. i remember when I used to race the rice just feel better

Surprise atacks gotta love em. Nothing like winning when you don't even know your racing.

yea I'll meet you guys at the Toys R us. 9:45am. I'll bring the timing light for you as well. only a week to go I allways do better on the street. As soon as I get to the track I get real nervous. not sure why. So hopefully I'll do ok.
