Syclone Goes Down!
Saturday night My best friend and I are cruising hwy 90 in biloxi looking for something worth racing. when he sposts a Syclone! so we roll up beside it and roll the window down and ask how it runs. he says "way better than any ole mustang"! So, I knew it was gonna be on after that wisecrack!
so we followed him to a road with no traffic. we stop and let him powerbrake up. and i gave him the go! Needless to say he shot out of the whole like a rocket! and i spun! went to second gear and missed it, stuck it back in second and nailed it. at this tiem he is at least 5 cars in front. then i hit 3rd and miss it! i stick it back in third and nail it and start pulling hard. i hit forth and blow by. (my clutch cable is stretched out so bad that it engauges the clutch at the floorboard. new one one order). so we pull over and he says he has a chip and runs 13.0's at the track all day long. I told him i wnated a rematch cause i missed 2 gears! he was like... "but you won". but he decided to go again anyway. this itme he powerbraked up and took off and i took off easy and rolled before nailing it. he was only about 2 out in front,... I dont miss 2nd gear and blow by him before getting out of second. he rolls up gives us the thumbs up and we chat for a few. he is gonna start hanging out with the street racers now. pretty cool dude. ------------------------------------------- 90 LX 302 10:1 cr 10 psi boost 11.82 @ 121 on slicks 12.25 @ 121 on drag radials |

Awesome race, man.
You can get an amazing launch with those Syclones! Glad you reeled him in. At this point in time, I could only imagine pulling on a 13.0 second Syclone. Good job.
