Thanks for the compliment. I actually like Mustangs and like they say: "Know thy enemy".
This board is really cool. Lots of smart mature people here as opposed to the sport compact crowd I tried to hang with lately. I gave up on them. To tell you the truth, it kinda made me feel like uniting with all muscle cars to kick some *** against these guys. If they accomplished anything, it's putting Ford and Chvy guys against them and THAT's gota be bad! The only reason I chose to own a Z is for purely subjective reasons, the looks. Heck, I could have a 88 5.0 and drop a stroker in it for cheaper than a 94 Z so.... |

To tell you the truth, I really don't have any Stag friends living locally. I hang w/ two late-80's "wicked" Chevys...a Monte SS and GTA (both worked 350's)........we live to embarrass and destroy all rice burners.

Thumbs up to you LT1 Z28!
I don;t blame you, or anyone for ditching the C.C.COM guys. Their actions have lead many to beleive that they not only hate muscle cars, but anyone who doesn't kiss up to the club Prez Keep the hammer down |

How did you guess I was talking about them?!?
But it's not only that, I went to an import site featuring carshows and allowing users to post comments on the rides. At first I tought it was hilarious but after a while it got really boring; 1st ricer: Yo, that ride's phat bro! 2nd ricer: Yo, it sucks, I hate it! (no reasons given) 1st ricer: Yo! I bet my car is faster than yours loser! 2nd ricer: Your mama.... Then there was a Mustang at one of the show. Everybody is burning it because it is not a sport compact. WTH?!? I find they are narrow minded and racists! Yes I said it! Racists! Ha well, just love to hate them. There has to be a bad guy to fight right? And this time, it is not Ford! Yea definately, i only know 2 stang guys i regularly cruise with, the rest have irocs, and f-bodies, and we love bashing imports, actually there is one mustang owner i talked to on another website that just makes me sick , he has a 96 cobra, and is driving 700 miles to attend an import shootout in dallas, now of course we asked why in gods name would you do that? he said "because i like imports, and they have been into DOHC technology for a long time"... well needless to say he was flamed badly and told to buy an import and shut up blah blahh..

Kevin, I know this is off topic and I'm sorry to use your board to talk about this, but please bare with me just for this post.
The news down the pipe about those guys at CC is they are "allowing" us back in soon. Post 1, they talk about it... Post 2, the proof Personally, I don't want to cut them out just because of one member, ... but do they deserve our attention after bitching us out? What do you think? LT1 Z28, I see that you racked up about 45 posts in one month... I guess you like this place, eh. |

Are you kidding! I love this place!
The problem is even when you approach the imports crowd with a genuine interest in what they do, they will still shoot you out of the group. [This message has been edited by LT1 Z28 (edited 05-11-2001).] |

I know I'm jumping in a little late on this, but I think you will take him pretty good - 7+ car lenghts. If you hook up well it could be over really quick.
Now tell this guy to hurry up and get some more miles on that thing so you guys can race! hehe Good to have the LS1 and LT1 guys here on the board! Welcome!
