01 GT calls out me in the 00 Z28
Some people just can't handle the internet and take things so seriously. I was challenged to drive 5 hours to Englishtown in NJ to help a guy gain some pride. I guess some people can't handle being flamed on their own message board with it's own flame section. Well the guy has a 2001 GT 5 speed with a densecharger, and a catback, and he runs 13.4. He has challenged me in the 2000 Z28 (g/f's in which he accepted, and so did she) with a a4. He says with those 2 bolt on's he will beat me, and hit a high 12's in the 1/4. Well i am a decent driver and i have until October until this happens. I am expecting a 12.9- 13.4 in the LS1. So i guess iam gonna waste some time off and gas money to race a guy, when i don't give a damn.

I highly doubt the guy runs a 13.4 with those mods....

No way is he running 13.4 with those mods. He probably did this:
"HMM...I got a GT...I heard some guy Lizard dude or whatever ran a 13.6...so that's probably what I'd run...then, with the catback, that takes a tenth off....plus the densecharger...that's a tenth right there....now Im running about 13.4...." Guarantee this guy is a magazine racer...but unless youve run your Z at the track, dont make the same mistake. Not all auto LS1's run 13.4's either.

I told the guy LS1's run low 13's where he has to modify his GT to get to that. So after some BSing, he calls me out. I have until October, thats when he told me the date. I have yet to run the car. I think going to the track twice a month and making 4-6 passes each will give me the poractice time needed to get a low 13.
He claims he has a time slip, so i will look for it on the message board. The race will be done with no mods from here on out.

Well he does not care what i do. So i may put in a whisper lid and free ram air. Hell by then i may have nitrous and longtubes on the cobra, and i may spray his *** into mid 12's. The arguement was over the LS1, so i may use that and if i win, i am gonna rub that **** in his face, and post it all over ever f-body board.

No way his car runs a 13.4... i raced a new gt last nite with flows and offroad h and maybe some other stuff and he only had me by a car and a half at the 1/4...

To me, it just sounds like a waste of time and money. Just get some time slips, and make him show his, and that will be that. A 5 hour drive isn't worth the time. Make him come to u if he want's to race so bad.

Yeah if your gonna drive 5 hours... make him put some money on it.... i'd say all your gas money for the drive + all the beer money for the night.

And can someone explain what is going on? im a bit slow today. blackfang, this guy wants to race you, him in his mustang, you in your z28 and something about a girlfriend and a A4 and a cobra? im so confised. someone please calrify, i wanna know what going on! |

Man I wouldnt drive 5 hours to race anyone, but anyways, he probably isnt telling the truth, maybe he has n20?

LOL, yea i almost got suckered into getting smoked bye a "14 sec" 99 cobra that really ran 12.3's, i didnt fall for it, and plus i saw his signature on the internet, thats why these sleeper guys need to stay off the net, or not post times, anyways, 5 hrs is a long ways, and if he called you out, make him come to you.

Ok for some that are confused.
I own a Cobra and go to some Cobra sites. My g/f has a 2000 Z28 with an a4. Well SVTPerformance has their own flameboard. Well 1 guy is a complete idiot about LS1's. He swears by shitty performance shops, and thinks they are god. Bases the LS1's power of shitty products, instead of good products. Well i make a reply to the post. Well they flame me, so i flame them. Guess they can't handle their own medicine. So he calls me out to race him in October at Englishtown, NJ. I seen his timeslip of 13.6 with a bbk cold air. All he has is a densecharger and a catback and runs 13.4. I did not say a word about the Z28. I asked my g/f if i can, and she said do it. Here are my mods: Lid Cutout Free mods ET Streets NX 150 shot I think i will open up the biggest can of whoopass his car has seen. I am doing this and recording it.
