Powershift in AOD
Can someone please explain to me how to powershift in with an AOD

Powershifting just refers to upshifting without letting off the throttle, so with an auto you are already doing it if you keep it matted.
Had to chuckle at the 'powershit' typo.

The AOD is a weak tranny compared to others.Power shifting is NOT advised.I shift mine right at 5k and so far I have no problems.The tranny is only 3 years old and I don't use OD unless I must.I say this based on a stock tranny.I think others will tend to agree.Good Luck Later.

You can't powershift a automatic. Powershifting refers to 5-speeds.

if your talkin about what im thinking...i think you can start off in first go into second then put it back in first to get it to wind further...dont take my word for it but i think this is what my brother used to when he had his aod 5.0
