5.0 thought I sprayed him
I was on my way to the auto parts store last night and decided I'd take the Stang out and enjoy the weather for a few minutes. I saw a 87-93 GT that was lowered with chrome pony wheels and cowl hood. It was a very nice looking ride.
He pulled out behind me and followed me as I took a right. He pulled next to me in the left lane and we went from a 20mph roll in 2nd gear. I spun badly all the way through 2nd and he jumped about two cars on me. I slammed into 3rd, spun a little more and finally got some traction. By the end of 3rd we were even... then I hit 4th gear and pulled an instant 2-3 cars on him. By the end of 4th I had him by about 5-6 car lengths. We ended up behind some traffic at a stop light and he rolls his window down and says "Let's do it again but this time you can't use Nitrous." I tried to expalin there was no Nitrous, but he wasn't buying it. Other than the appearance, this car must've been fairly stock.

Did he have anyone in the car with him??? I have found out from my sources that when alot of people loose, and have a passenger, such as a Girlfriend, or a buddy, there excuse for loosing is "Man, I would of had that dude if he didnt spary on me!" or "Man you see, Dude had to spray on me to beat me!".
I've even heard "You smell that Jane (Guy makes sniffing noises), thats Nitrouis. That guy sprayed Nitrouis to beat me." Typical of when people talk up there cars to there friends and girlfriends and claim its "One of the Fastest Cars in Town. I never loose a race. I'm such a great, awesome, top notch Driver." 1 out of 3 people I race and beat accuse me of squeezing/spraying on them. Several times I've invited them to look under the hood and in the trunk.

Actually, this guy was alone. I guess he needed to justify it to himself.
Afterwards I noticed that I was basically out of gas. After picking up about 7 gallons of petro I had noticeably more traction. I guess a little weight in the rear isn't always a bad thing. |

first off nice kill. secondly even if you did spray on him who cares? i mean so what if someone decides to put nitrous in there car as a performance mod? i think its a cheap and easy way to get extra horses when you need them. but nice kill.

Nice kill!!! But there's nothing wrong with spraying on the street to win! Everyone on the street considers nitrous cheating, well I guess you can count Blowers and turbos as the same thing!!! But anyway, glad you showed him what's up. Hell I spray like a skunk!!! lol
