Default Ran a Gold SS

I was out the other night at a local scene with a few friends (aquaman). Aquaman and I aproach this guy in a 98 Gold 6spd SS(who the night before had clearly been searching for a race) and ask him if he wants to race and he says "I am not racing tonight". So we walk away. Well after aquaman leaves (why does this always happen) I decide to drive around a little and I go by where this SS had been hanging out and he pulls out behind me. So we head down to the spot and go from a 30 or so roll (I left it in second) he is beside me for a sec tell the R's come up and I start to pull, then I began to open it up pretty good in 3rd and 4th. Ofcourse after this run he wants to run again. So we turn around this time I am pacing him (leaving it in 1st for the big kill) well he holds up his hand (in what I thought he was saying hold on a sec.) then he nails it, then I realize he was counting down so I nail it, I stop his pull in second than grab third and pull him then in 4th I come by him and shut down. We meet back up where he was hanging out and talked for a while, he asked what I had done I told him stock (he was like uh ok) and his friend is like no way is that stock, I later told him I was a H/C/I car after he asked if that was what I was.

Two good wins. Especially the one where he gets the jump and then you have to overcome the deficit. You're definitely making some solid power to do that.

Was he modded?

No, just the SLP options (though I think I overhead him say he had a lid).

The term "stock" is so relative. What's stock to me, may not be stock to you. LOL

Cool SSMACKDOWN!

sedanman:

Good job on the 2 kills! Must have killed him not to hear you say '150 shot' or something!
You definately have a strong runner there! H/C/I car in the 12's....very nice!

Next Time I say I'm going home remind me about how I keep missing crap like this. I'm suprised that puss ran you after passing on a race earlier. Do you think he remembered you from earlier? Stupid little weasel looking guy was too scared to race us both. probably didn't think you were a 12's car. Too bad for him!
