New Pb @ Orlando Speedworld
Let me start off by saying I have a Grand Prix GTP, not a Mustang. I visit this board bcause my buddy (Venums 93) post here a lot and we read each others boards because they are both great. You guys have a lot of cool post so flame me if you want. I'm just another car guy. It finally cooled down here in Fl. I was able to land a 13.97 @ 99.62 mph w/a 2.18 60'. I was on G.Y GSA's which I hate. I was able to land a 2.008 60' on G.Y GA's last Spring. I need some new tires to get it down somemore with current set-up. I've only have around $500 worth of mods to date.

If I remember correctly Venums93 is the guy with the 93 cobra that runs low 14's.
Seems like you two would be a good match. Nothing wrong with your car I like those quite a bit Nice ET,

GREAT JOB!
..by my good friend noxcape!
we used to be within .02 as far as 1/4 times, but now I have some work to do to try to get close again. His car runs VERY strong & he is now limited by traction problems(like I have been for a while now, too...but I have some tires now)so maybe I can close the gap some next time out to the track. I think if we ran head-to-head it would be a tire-blazing mess as we wouldn't be able to get out of the hole worrying about the other guy & not the tree! Great job, again, noxcape & let's get the Cobra back to the track SOON! Later! Sean

I'll be there! Look for a red hatchback with silver mustangworks decals in rear quarter windows. I'll be alongside the fence next to the staging lanes. LS1JAY: check your e-mail!!

when did you go last? this was like a month ago...they said insurance ,and my friend in his SS went 13.2 and couldnt run again w/o a helmet which there was only one and he had to share it with three other guys..got like 4 passes...
i aggree the 13.999 thing seems alittle slow for a helmet, but my other friend who also didnt like it, ate the wall at sunshine after a speed shift into 3rd got him sideways...he did 13.3 at bradenton... i have a FWD prospective though so i cant see getting in alot of trouble going 13.8-9

Hey Type R. We have a lot of GTP's that run at Orlando Speed World. 2 weeks ago we had a gathering and the last count was in the 20's. A few were in the 12's but most are on the 13's like myself. When I did the 13.97 it was with a 2.18 60' . I've been able to get as low as a 2.008 60' of rad's. That night traction was not so great. If I got the 60' down to my normal I should have been around a 13.7. I just put a smaller pulley on since my PB. It will add another 1 1/2 of boost (around 12-13 psi). My times should once again drop pretty nice.
