Update from Acura-CL.com --- What arrogance!!!
OK, some of you remember the guy over at www.acura-cl.com posting all the stories of his Mustang Kills.... well, now he's got a nice little thread about this::
Another race! 2 Blondes in a V6 5spd 99+ Stang! hehe Here's some of his more recent posts, geez this guy is either FOS or isn't letting on to something. Okay, another 4.6 GT 5spd 97-98 Conv goes down--"with 3 people in the stang" 3 Stangs go down at once Username: SilverBullet.... This guys has the most offensive personality I have ever seen, he doesn nothing but slander Mustangs left and right

The links seem to work fine for me... but, here's the main forum... you'll just have to look down the list for his posts..
I don't know where.... I don't want to start listing other people's account info, I hate it when people do it to me... http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/forum...hp?forumid=108

How does he know all the little details??
Ok what i find interesting in his post about killing all 3 mustangs at once, how did he know all the little details about how they were all 5spd's? Unless he knew who was driving them or has raced them before that's the only way he could have known that they were all 5spd's. Kind of hard to believe if you ask me. He's not even a good liar, heh. Also anyone who lives in San Antonio go and find this nerd race/kill this guy and then maybe he'll shut-up. It's people like that, that i like to race

Those guys are a waste of o2.
Perfect example of what happens when you give someone a car, a computer and a little ****. They go on and on about what they can beat, without backing it up with track #'s. Show me a timeslip please.

He also has thousands of dollars in suspension upgrades if I read correctly. I could drop maybe 1k on some koni's and sway bars, and eat him for lunch. On my stock tires too, mind you.
Some people just don't get what its like out in the real world. They also forget about Cobra's IRS, and that Mustangs were first hailed as open track cars. The same suspension that worked then would work now.

My eyes were fooling me amidst all the talk of Xenon headlights being listed in the mod section of peoples cars.
I still say by "low brow" suspension stuff would walk any of their high tech crap. Bring it on.

Anyways, I knew all the owners of those stangs. We all talked before we went on the highway and I was behind them to see how they would go against each other. I got behind the 99 because I knew he probably be the fastest and I was right. Some of the local TRS guys in San Antonio have seen my car in action and have seen it kill a older 96-98 GT stang badly. Some saw me run recently the convertible 99+ GT stang 5spd. And all they came over and asked, did you have NOS, etc? I opened the hood, car is bone stock, not even a K&N as someone mentioned here. I have many friends that drive stangs, camaros, etc. I use to own a 99 Trans-Am till that POS fell apart on me, but it was fun while it lasted. I have a friend that has a 00' GT that runs 13.8 with gears, intake, and ecu. That's it. Very impressed. Yea, he leaves me bad off the line, but highway, not much at all. Anyways, I did not come over here to flame and don't plan to start any arguements I wanted to place the facts out for you guys on what happened, and the info on the cars.

im alittle surprised...I havent been here in a while but you guys were alot more respectful then...simple truths are these the mustang is far easier to mod then the acura cl type S the aftermarket support alone eclipses anything the acura will ever have...that said with what we do have all engine no NOS,no F.I. we have cars going 9.2 in the 1/8th mile that is competitive to 99+GT's near stock with 2 less cylinders that's impressive to me.
personally .in one less than a month i expect to go 9.0 all engine... see you at the track...im in the tampa area...sunshine speeway Steve
