I've been reading the board for about 3 weeks and started posting today. I've yet to see anyone from NY.....I know I'm not the only stang banger in NY. Are you out there? Where do you ride? Hellooooooooo!

Cool

Thanks dinomite. Wasn't quite sure how to show the specs each time w/out storing on Microsoft Word.

My car was running 13.8 stock from the factory. It was always a quick car. Now, with the mods I've done, along with the lost weight (no A/C, no rear seat, corbeau racing seats, fiberglass hood), she weighs just under 3100 lbs (w/ me included).

What do you run?

Where in Nanuet? I've gone to Hunts Point once or twice, but must've missed a good night. Either of you ever go to Central Avenue in Yonkers? It's mostly bikes now though. I don't have to drive far anymore, live in lower Putnam.....and there are plenty of long/isolated roads and plenty of Camaros/GTA's etc that need some schoolin'.

Cool

XLR, 59 would only be about 10 minutes off the Tap, right? That'd be about 45 minutes for me. I'll probably check it out. Mostly imports there, or is there real competition?
Except for the bikes.....is 59 run like Central in Yonkers? Cops show often?

There are plenty of fast cars but the roads are @ss. I usually go to Lebanon Valley to run the car, but run on the street occaisionally.

Cool

I'm originally from Queens....but have migrated noth to Putnam county. I remember racing on Francis Lewis Blvd in my Monte SS (what a pig) in late '80's. Yes I was once a member of the Dark Side.....but have since obviously seen the light.
