I don't like these "catch up" races
Seems like on the street, I'm always having to race from a roll. What I want to do is line up at a light and go on green. What always seems to happen is one of us is ahead and the other is trying to catch up to race.
So what's the fair thing to do? If I'm ahead and the other guy is coming along side, when do you nail it? You can't just wait till he's dead even because he'll have the momentum and some advantage. If you go before he gets even, then did you jump the gun? I realize in street racing, there never is a really fair start. Someone always leaves early. I try not to cheat, but I don't want to give it away either. What's everyone's take on this? Rev

Come On Rev....
Come on man, nothing is "fair" in street racing, there are no "rules" except bring all you got and try to hide it from the competition! Sounds like you really want to be at the track if you gotta have such an even starting race. And the track is a blast for racing. I personally like giving the other guy the jump, as I love to see his face as I go flying by.

A chase is still a race....just do what I usually do. If they won't let me pull even and we count it down, or if we can't line up at a light, I won't go at all.

Inferno, I agree............but
I never get enough races if I'm too picky. Where the heck are you now anyway? Are you in TX. or CA.?
Sleeper, I know what you're saying. But it has to be fair enough for me to know whether I won or lost. You are right though, I would prefer the track with all the green lights, red lights, etc. Rev
