Witnessesd a good race
I was kinda in this one, but I wasn't an active participant. I wanted to see the outcome, so i kept up with them to see for myself.
Friend of mine just picked up an 87 LX, 5.0. Car already has the mass air conversion, full exhaust, 12 lbs of boost (Vortech) and the rest of the usual stuff. The only thing that is weird is that he has 3.08's in the rear. He does alot of highway driving, so he doesn't care. Anywho. I'm following him on the highway. Doing about 75. This puke green and orange Integra pulls up next to him, slows down to his speed(The guy was flying to catch up to us), and starts revving. Remember, we are on the highway doing like 75. So my friend just gives a little wave, and just starts romping on his car. I had all i can do to keep up. The ricer had some serious work done, cause he stuck with us for little while. At about 120, the ricer started fading back, but I could still tell he was trying. At 130, he was like 6 cars back. At 140 he was over 10 cars back. At 145, my buddy started pulling away from me, at 150, i couldn't go any faster. Ran out of gear and revs. My bud told me after we stopped that he was at 4500 in fifth. We assumed he probably hit 155 or so, his speedo only goes to 140, so we can't be sure. Coolest part was the ricer followed us offour exit, stopped, and wanted to check out the car. We checked out his car. Besides the paint, it was pretty nice. Not overly done. Rims, stereo, and paint. Everything else was pure performance. Guy was cool as hell, which is always nice. Thought it was a cool race, figured i pass it along. see-ya

That's cool that the guy was a good sport about losing. Your friends car sounds pretty damn fast. It sucks going 120+ on the freeway.....that's when i start letting my common sense back in my head
