With an automatic i go on the 3rd yellow light and with my manual i go when the 2nd light goes off. my r.t's are all over the place but it's T&T so no a big deal unless i'm against someone i know i have a chance at beating. a few time i have gotten staged and ready to go and other side is a bit slow getting staged and i can have my rev's where i want and have gotten a couple of good lights in the low .500 my best is a .506 against my friedn but he belw by me at 60' but i can still brag that he saw my taillights!

When the last yellow comes on I hit the gas dump the clutch and go. I pull pretty consistant .5xx lights

Dark 5.0 if your not talking a pro tree light, you should go on the 2nd to last light, I pull consistent .020-30's this way.

I go as soon as I see the last yellow on the sportsman tree, and get .5xx-.6xx RT's usually. Any sooner than that and I will red light 50% of the time. That's for me and my car though.
Experiment a little on Test and Tune nights to determine the best technique for you. If you can get that down well, you'll beat some faster cars than yours. I'll never forget the guy that said "You cheated, you left before I did". I very carefully pointed out on the time slip that I didn't red light. I still think that he believed that I "cheated" somehow. What an idiot. Rev
