Raced a quick Eagle Talon (vid.)
Okay well I'm back.. Been racin around a bit. Anyways tonight I finally got a good run in with a buddy of mines Eagle Talon. He's got some bolt on's, exhaust, downpipe. I think he is boosting 12 psi. Anyway this car is really fast, I've seen it beat many mustangs.
Anyways, to the guys that commented on how crappy my shifting was in the last race video I posted here I made sure to speed things up. Wish the vid was from the other car so you could hear the 4 gear chirp . Check it: http://members.cox.net/cameron83/mevsmike.mpg

Two things you cant do! You cant shift and you cant sing!! Keep practicing your shifting, but DONT practice on your singing or you will drive people to the "DANGER ZONE"!!!! haha

Haha... I kick *** at singing... I'm always on the highway to the Danga Zone! Hey now don't talk smack on my driving I finally pulled my head out of my *** and learned to move the shifter and the clutch pedal in unisen(yeah i probably spelled that wrong!).

deff got better then that last vid that i saw of ya for shiftin =) would have been more interesting if you guys went from a stop =) how do you UL things to the net anyway??? i got tons of vids that i wanna share of my car and friends but i have noooo clue how to UL them =( can ya help?? got one of me beating a Single turbo supra (95ish body style) that traps around 113 and i beat him to the line first and that was with no tranny fluid in my tranny and a intake leak! oh yea and spinning too. got one of a ls1 that i just beat him by a hundreth on the board and a nice 2 car lead over the finish the same night.
then i got my 12.85 run with a friend thats on stangnet but i cant say his name. (i beat him!!!) hehehehe i was the underdog for that run because i only had a best run of 13.2 before i put my 373s in the rear. i feel i still got more in the car too cause i only cut a 2.000 60ft on that run and that was the 1st run with the gears and last for the night cause of my crossmember rustin out. but if you wanna hear some good shiftin then ill be more then happy to email the run with the supra and hear a 3rd gear grab with nittos and 308s. (grabs hard) just also let me know how to UL vids please! thanks. Vinny ps good run with the tsi, always fun to run em.

you dont ever want to race an AWD DSM from a stop. ESPECIALLY on the street!!! they will hook faster than you can blink.

Green93notch, Thanks, I upload them to my ISP ftp they let me us for a personal webpage. I only get 10 megs per name (I have a couple for these vids.) I'm gonna ask a guy in town that runs www.lgracing.net if he could put them on his servers... if so I'll see if I can hook you up.
Bluefox91lx, hehehe I know what you're talking about, a good friend of mine has one (He broke all of his exhaust valves back in october (Tried shifting to 4 while raicng,but found 2!...over revved that puppy bad) They lauch hard but If they aren't running quite a bit of boost I'll suck them up (which is what I do to my friends car)

stock the 2nd gen tsi (awd) runs with about 12-14lbs of boost stock and they run a 14.9 stock thats the 5-speed the auto runs less boost and runs a 15.4 stock

I've found out that he runs 16 psi, has an aftermarkey downpipe, a exhuast system that my friend with a DSM says is really bad ***... The car is only a FWD.
