Hahn RaceCrafts stage 2 turbo kit does make between 250-275 hp so this kid might not be lying to you. The times quoted for this kit are mid 13s with a good launch at 103 mph. If you get a good launch you can hold him off most likely so go race him and tell us what happens.

But if he does have the stage 2 kit, why didn't he mention any fuel system upgrades or a tranny change?? Only thing he says he has is a heavy duty clutch, and exhaust. I know I'll probably lose but I have lots of friends with quick stangs around here that would be more than happy to race this kid.

The kit comes with the upgrades in it....and he could still use his stock POS tranny until it blows up. The Stage 1 kit is good for 210 hp, the Stage 2 is good for 275 hp, and Stage 3 is still in development. I really don't think he has stage 2 because he would have more boost....more like 14 psi instead of only 9. But then again, he could be trying to snowball you....make you think that he has less boost and them humiliate you in front of everyone. You will never know unless you race him though, so GO RACE HIM!!!!!!!
