By the way....I think the video car was a Pontiac Fcar. The dash backlight was red and the rear spoiler looked weird to be a Z spoiler. Nevertheless awesome clip. From nailing it inside an LS1 I can tell you that the engine sound was a lot louder in that car than in mine. I would think he probabbly has a cutout or straigth pipe through headers with no cats. Still, stock SS, and Zs (regardless of what the brochures say) have about 340 at the engine (dyno about 290 at the wheels) so this guy with the extra weight of a passanger must be putting about 370 to the ground to be able to just pull away from an SS like that.
White5.0: The LS1 (and I believe also LT1) speedos can be controlled through a little computer called the Power Programmer. Whenever you change gears, tire/rim sizes, you just plug it in the port under the steering wheel and you can change the speedo there.
