Sucks doesn't it. What's worse is that they get all the really cool stuff on the cars. Like the Cobra gets additional Fog lights and an extra parking light just above the Cobra emblem, although I don't know if that's a good thing.
On the down side, they only get 235/45/17 tires. But those tires are BFG's. Makes you want to move Down Under, huh?

I think its funny. I didnt see a Chevy on there at all. I want a XR-7. Those looked pretty cool. Hey they put the steering wheel on the wrong side of that stang. I do like the extra fog lamps on the Cobra too.

Yup sure does make you wish you lived down south. They got some bad *** cars. There mustangs have acouple things to make it look better in away. Austraila still knows how to build a nice car.

Default down under

They don't cost more, Aussie dollars aren't worth the same as US dollars.

When I lived there (1985), the only vehicles you could buy that were not 4-doors were the Utes (El Camino/Ranchero clones). Everything else had 4 doors. That kinda sucked, but the performance was there. Still, what they really wanted were "classic American muscle cars". A $1500 '68 Camaro would sell there for $20,000 or more.

Take care,
-Chris
