![]() I made 3 runs at the track, but am not happy with the times at all. I know I can get more out of my car, but I think the lack of traction might have a part to play in my times. Any suggestion or different techniques would be great. Also would it be better to get slicks or drag radials, and what size? Thanks in advance for any replys.
First run with 35 PSI in the tires, launching at 2500rpms. Spinning really bad. R/t 1.120 60' 2.465 1/4 14.504 MPH 100.99 Second run with 18 PSI in the tires, launching at 2000rpms. Hooked better, but still a little spin. R/T .757 60' 2.251 1/4 13.886 MPH 101.58 Third run with 16 PSI in the tires, launching at 2500rpms. This run I raced a 2000 Z28 with nitrous. We were neck in neck till I missed the 3rd gear shift. He ran 13.4@103, I think I would have been close to that on this run. R/T .662 60' 2.287 1/4 14.496 MPH 91.37
