I guess anything is possible. However, I don't like the reply stating a Z34 beat a Stang. No way in Hell.
And as for the statement about the pre 99 Stangs being nothing to worry about I can promise you I've never lost to a ricer. That is besides the inevitable fly by only after the race is over.

Pre-99's being nothing to worry about?
I asked that same guy if he wanted to TRY ME.
He looked at my car, then me, then the car, then says he doesn't feel like racing anymore.

Look forward to my Friday's kill post entitled "Integra GSR get's put to bed"

Red face

Did any of you read the other posts on that board? What a bunch of A-holes. They don't support each other or give tech advice. All they do is squabble and tell each other that their goals aren't achievable. That's why i like this board, you actually learn something...jeez

You should go to ClubSi in Si Vs. All, that place is a riot sometimes. I never tell them to come to MustangWorks though cuz I don't want them messing this place up.

Thumbs down

Pre 99 Mustangs nothing to write home about?!?!

Well my pre-99 mustang, which is not exactly very highly modded with only some exhaust mods and a chip, will gladdly have a race with any Z34 or TEG or FAG or whatever you want to call them. Both cars, stock with aftermarket exhaust, anytime anyplace...

Those guys make me laugh.

Those guys are definitely full of sheeit. Unfortunately though, I have been with my friend in his GSR when he beat 2 stangs (late 80s or early 90s 5.0s) in fair races. I'm convinced that one was an auto, and the other got a bad launch, but nonetheless he did beat them by a few cars up to decent speeds.
The only reason those idiots on that board talk so much trash about Stangs is because they know that we have badass cars that they should set as a goal for themselves to beat.

What a bunch of crap. That's some ricer pipe dream if I've ever heard one before. What a joke..........I think somepeople need major reality checks. The only way a GSR w/out major mods (+turbo) is gonna come close to me is if he catches me sleeping and he's the only one who knows the race is on.

Ahh, I raced a Acura Type-R today. It was lowered and had exhaust. As for stickers, well, he didnt have many. Doesn't that slow them down? lol...

I beat him in the LX. And yes he was racing. Wasn't too much to write about. Wouldn't have mentioned it if it wasn't for this thread....

I really hate riceboys. Pre 99 Mustangs not being anything to worry about? LMAO, ok. I'll remember that next time I roast all the little "'ludes and 'tegs" again and again. Go add some more stickers boys, I can still see your paint.

hahahah, they said i have a mullet! I don't but yes my car is a white trash POS crap mid eitghtees mustang. I'm a college student with NO money but i could still probably beat 75%+ of those jackasses. I haven't lost to any ricers yet, and i've hung with lightly modded stangs (i choose my races wisely) and surprised a 4 banger supercharged mercedes roadster that TRIED to pass me, the only reason i listed the smog pump idler in my sig is because it's $90 from ford, and it represents, to me, the best part of my smog bypasses. I'm not usually very defensive about my car because it is a pile, but it's what i have, and i'd rather have it that 99% of those fart pipes, *** looking, stickered imports. I love my car.....i'll buy a better car someday, and i admire the work that goes into performance cars (yes, even ricers) but these A-holes don't know me OR my car so they can kiss my @ss. Someday i'll meet them on the street and we'll see whos car is faster, put up or shut up time, if i lose, i'll just work harder if not then my work was worth it. I'm done talking sh/t, and i know they're not, but attacking my character without knowing me, seeing my POS, or even knowing how fast it is or HOW MANY GODDAM HOURS i've worked on it shows how ignorant and closed minded these people are. Whatever.

I like you Stang84LX - i agree with you.
They're calling for scattered showers tonight - hopefully it won't rain. Races start around midnight. I've tried posting on the contempararycustoms site and challenge the Integrra guy, but it takes a few days for my membership to be processed.
.. stay tuned ..

If they want to make a generalization about pre 99 stangs being nothing to worry about, I will make one too "I dont think ANY daily driven integra is worth worrying about unless it has some sort of forced induction" Now Im sure theyre gonna tell me about SOME naturaly aspirated teg running 12's or 11's or hell even 10's but REALLY how many are there? especialy daily driven ones.
When I was 16 the GSR was my dream car, I had a non vtec teg and I was sure that if I got the VTEC I could just bolt a few mods and start killing stangs left and right. Well, as soon as I felt 5.0 torque behind my *** , I bought a stang and realized how rediculous ricers really are. Later I went to Pomona and watched a GSR with CAI and full exh run a 15 flat ALL day. A good friend of mine bought a 1.8 LS integra, he put the adjustable cam gears, JG aluminum head and the largest cam possible. He got it dyno tuned by the shop that did all the work and it still only ran low 14.'s.

I just had to change my sig. to portray what a white trash, mullet loving, hick i am (j/k)

Lizard, if our old Fox's can be beat by these super Integra's your 99 is only a tick away from a loss, dude.

I posted my Gtech time. 14.19, and I was nowhere near track form. My car, with almost no mods and 145k on the clock is at best, a tenth or two behind your new fresh 4.6. I wonder if your 99 would even stand a chance if my motor wasn't getting tired? I'm gonna try to give my car a little tune up this weekend. I'll post my 13's for you.
