96 Cobra Vert
Guy that works with me drove his moms 96 cobra vert to work today. 100% stock cherry red real nice clean looking car. He started talking crap saying he would beat me so bad blah blah so I said let's put $20 on it(this kid is 17 and has an auto and the cobra is stick so I know he can't drive it too well), he said nah but let's race for fun. So we take it out to the feeder road, we line up and I yell go and stomp it and let off because I didn't think he was on it but hear him spinning the crap out of the tires so I got on it again. By the time I hit 80 I was at least 6 cars ahead. We lined up again going 20 or so and both hit it, I instantly pulled a car(4:10's) and then I guess he had to shift becuase I started pulling real hard at least 3-4 cars by 70(he probably shifted too early too)when he let off. He said he's gonna learn how to drive and come back and beat me. Think he can take me if he could drive good? What do the 96 verts run stock? I was guessing about a 14.1?

His mom drives a Cobra vert? Cool! Is she hot? I'd say a stock 96 would probably be a 14.1 with a skilled driver

Good kill FivepointOH. Any Cobra is fair game to me (Ford lover that I am). If that lady has a 64 1/2, 68 GT, and a '96 Cobra, then she needs to teach her son to drive.
Hope to see you around our neighborhood sometime so we can "line'em up". Should be close. Rev ------------------ '66 Coupe, 306, 300 HP, C-4, 13.97 e.t., 100.3 mph 1/4 mi. |

Thanks Rev, yeah I should be home from school in about 2 weeks... around the beltway area(in between 290 and 59) quite a bit so if I see yeah it's on. Oh I might have a little edge on you by then hopefully.
