Default sleeeeppy beamer+ a broken clutch

cruisin the town one night when I see my old boss's car. 1986 beamer- most people wouldn't think much of it- except when he popped beside me and nearly passed me! We were going at it and got up to about 100 before we hit a light. I rev it, give him the look. He gets a perfect start, I'm squealing a little in first. He's two car lengths ahead! I spin them in second, going nowhere; he's gone!! Later on that night, my car wouldn't shift into gear and grinded into them when I did shift.
Moral of story: don't mess with old boss's car that has over ten thousand dollars in the engine alone into it(I raced him knowing this) But all is well, as the clutch is replaced by a Ford Motorsports Racing Clutch and an aluminum driveshaft was put in. Next time, if I don't sit there spinning, I might have a chance.. or maybe not.
