Question Something strange in the air.

Today, when the wife and I went to pick our son up from the YMCA, we saw the ugliest 'Stang ever to be pieced together. I took pictures of it, and I'll post them as soon as I get them back from the developer. To start with, it was dressed up like a Cobra, but with the 16" waffle wheels, a Saleen SR double stack wing, a 'black bird' lift off hood, with the hold down pins, Steeda side skirts, Steeda rear valance, and it was a convertable. Normally, I like to see something a little different(and typing this it doesn't seem as bad), but this was just tacky. Anyway, since it was so nice out, we went to see if the local cruise night guys were out. We went to the Hardee's, and sat for a few minutes, who should come past us? The same ugly 'Stang. We honked at him to get him (or her) to pull over, but he was preoccupied with the ZR-1 behind him. He pulled into a parking lot within eyeshot, so we gave up in the guys, and drove over to see the who was driving the thing. As we got closer, we noticed that it wasn't the same car. This one was a Cobra, but it had a Mach 1 hood, Cobra wheels, clear breaklight covers, and the same wing. Unfortunatly, we didn't get to see who's it was, nor did we get to race anyone, the police were out in force, but the first chance I get, I'm going to jump this guy or gal and see what they have. I hope it's not all looks(cause it really doesn't have much there).

I have got to agree with you
there. They were both ugly
and especially the first one.
It looked as though it had an
identity crisis. (for anyone
who wonders how i know; i'm
the wife). But the rest the
of the night was showing some
pretty nice 5.0's and verts.
And not a v6 in site. Must
have been the weather.

94 Mustang Cobra: off-road h-pipe, 3:73 gears, motersports underdrive pulleys, MAC cold air induction, MAC 1 1/2 inch lowering springs, K&N Air filter, Maximum Motersports caster/camber plates. Soon my steeda tri-ax shifter.
94 Thunderbird SC: only mod is a K&N air filter. But she runs very well and hard.

I was driving and saw one of those riced out stangs too. It had the 6ft tall wing 18in rims and a 5in fart pipe on it. Oh ya, it was also a V6.

Red face

Sorry about the pics, but I am not a computer literate person, and I don't know how to direct the right one here, so.......whatever. I've been looking for the ugly 'stanger for the past few days, but to no avail. I wanted to ahow him what a real stang is. Oh! I watched "GONE IN 60 SECONDS" tonight, and I had to change my underwear after seeing Nic Cage drive the GT500 like a pro.

Here in Charlotte, we race just about anywhere, as long as it isn't in the city of Knappolis. KPD sucks!!!!!

now go out and watch the original gone in 60 seconds. You have to bear throught the first part, cause its like a 70s porno, as if the audio is dubbed over, but a good movie all over.
