Post Street Stories

I have a story:
There once was a Honda that was fast as could be, He pulled up to the stoplight, right next to me. He had a SportComp Monster Tach and Stickers galore, It made me so nervous just hearing his exhaust roar. The light turned green, I waited for him to go first, Then I got on it and flew past him with one quick swift burst. He pulled up next to me at the next stop, His jaw on the floor, He could not believe that I blew off his doors. Not bad for one night, not bad I might add, because I was riding a ten-speed that I borrowed from my Dad !

Tell me some of your best real stories about all of your encounters with the "Slow and the Stickered"

Cool

Heh, heh. This is on my website.

While Traveling To Places of Peace

As a fresh, cool breeze on a cool spring day,
Caresses my skin as I drive down the way,
While traveling to places of peace that I go,
Considering all of the fullness I know,

As ears kiss the hum of the mill and the Flows,
A sound indescribable, yes, I should know,
Whilst smelling the fumes of the oversized Holley,
I witness what seems a fool and his folly.

This thing, not domestic, "a Honda?" I think,
It's orange, with sparkles, it's purple and pink,
With stickers and fog lights excessively strewn,
It wasn't from Earth, perhaps from the moon.

On circles of gold, silver, and white,
With spokes spinning wildly with all of their might,
Wrapped in rubber too small for the circular lights,
Which stuck out too far from the vehicle's sides.

The cowl reached the heavens, the tint spoke of hell,
Ground effects-ladened. The car? Couldn't tell.
The rear brought back memories, pull-ups on limbs,
Hey, I could really use this guy's jungle gym.

And what broke the silence as if fencing with bees?
This hideous thing started throwing revs at me.
The audacity clenched my heart with a twist,
Respect must be taught to this little piss....

Slowing down to 35,
Looking over into its eyes,
Giving the nod, feeling the rise,
Adrenaline pumps, predicting demise.

Allowing the jump, delaying the kill,
Ready to smash, at my own will,
Bumper to back, jets start to fill,
Slamming the pedal, reving the mill.

Explosions of power,
The thunder gets louder,
The speed kills the doubter,
As rice I devour.

Nah, there's no looking back for me,
For rice I cannot see,
As I look through the trees,
As the birds softly tweet,
Through the crisp, spring breeze,
Whilst the hum of the mill,
Gives me joy and the thrill,
Causes knees to be weak,

While traveling to places of peace that I go,
And the thoughts of the days lift the pains that I know,
Then I know them no more,
For they all slip away......

That was awesome Fox Body, excellent use of poetry. I especially liked the "It's orange, with sparkles, it's purple and pink,
With stickers and fog lights excessively strewn" i just about fell on the floor laughing, if you have any others please share, that was awesome!
That was hilarious LfiveohX, good story.

On the way back from an indian reservation me and my friends saw an entry level 2 door neon (not even the sport) with a single "racing???" stripe and it was such a CUTE purple color and the guy driving it had his front seat reclined onto the rear seat with his hand on top of the wheel, and his sunvisor cap thingy sideways AND upside down. Now that's what i call pimpin' it

This ain't a story about the rice & stickered but it was funny *** hell when I heard it. My ex-girlfriend was telling me yesterday that she was going home after the 4th of July fireworks. When she catches a light. Next to her lined up was a baby blue, lowered, 17 inch rims, with a nice shiny horse on it's side. It was a guy and he rolled down his window yelled over "wana race." She couldn't help but laugh but she said "OK. When the light turn green we go." Soon enough the light turn green and they were off. With the sound of a 4 barrel 351 cleaveland thundering away she beat that little old pinto by 10 car lengths.

I hate to call a family member a liar but my mom swears she turned nines in a 1969 Chevelle 396, with a Muncie "Mystery" Shift...I never did believe her......
