Ineed advice for my engine
I just purchased a 1979 beautiful ford blue f-150 coustom with the big block 460 :-) needless to say it was a Grandpas truck wich is why its still so nice but the engine lacks....how should i say this...BALLZ!! i need cam advice gearing mabey and some exhaust advice also thanks

Lose the pistons. The dish is so big in a 79 460 you could eat soup from them. Get a Weiand stealth with a 750 double pumper and a cam big enough to match your torque converter. Or is it a manual? You can get hedders for about $100 bucks, then some nice mufflers. If you shop around, maybe even used parts, you could probably haul for around $1000. My friends jet boat has about the same mods and it makes about 380-400hp, according to the pump he's running.
