Shift Knob Thread Size

Hi,
I forgot to ask in my previous topic (re: Shift Knob Preference), what the thread size of the stock 89 LX' shift knob is? This way I can get my dad to drill the right thread for the shift knob.

I sent you an email, but just in case anyone else is wondering it is a metric thread. The size is M12 1.75. Good luck!
