There was an S-351 in my neighborhood and try as I might he would never run. Oh well just goes down as a win by forefit;)

The base price for an S351 was $49,995. Hell of a bargain.

The base for an S281SC is $40K. The sticker you show there has $10K in options added with a base price of $59K, so it looks like the base price did go up about $10K between the time they first started selling them in '95 when I priced them before and the '99 sticker you posted. The base price for the newer S281E is $60K also. OUCH!! Makes the '03 Cobra look like a good starting point to build on for the price compared to those numbers...
