Turbo'd Del Sol vs. 89 GT Vert

OK. To make a long sory short turbo del sols are sssssssssssssllllllllllllllooooooooowwwwwwwwwwww.

Me and my bf were in his Vert GT on the highway going home when off to the right was a ugly purple Honda Del Sol with a HUGE wing on it (The wing was taller than the roof of the car!) Anyway my BF revved at the guy and little ricer boy flew across the highway and wanted to play. As usual he attempted the ricer flyby and there was an unusual sound comming from the car. A turbo spooling up!!!! Well as rice boy was catching up with us my bf dropped the GT and ricie was left in the dust! Later on we raced him again from a stop and totally wasted him. The del sol indeed had a turbo. he kept up till about 2nd gear and he was toast!
i do have respect for the guy, he was cool to us whem we talked to him. It is nice to see a turbo'd ricer over the normal crapped out hondas with nothing but exhaust and light up EVERYTHING.

Also the GT is sick. misfires and needs h-pipe

Just thought I'd share this kill with everyone.:D

Nice kill but like you guys, I respect the fact that the ricer at least had something under the hood to go with the wing and that he was cool after getting beat by a GT.

Yes that is why they have the nickname Del Slow. LMAO

Some guy at school had one but it wasnt turbocharched and he would always talk like it was fast. He kept bragging that his auto would chirp second gear on his bald 175 front tires  Funny thing is he went from driving a '66 El Camino with a 454 that was in the mid 12's to that. (Long story that i dont know the real answer too lol)

Good kill!

Later,
Nick
