supposed to race a 6 spd LS1 this weekend, question about nitto DR'S
my buddy's got a 6 speed LS1 w/ gutted cats and we have been talking a lot of smack to each other for quite some time now and were gonna run this weekend at the track. i just got some nitto drag radials for the race and i havent ever tried them before and was wondering how much pressure you guys run in them.

89 GT, 3.55's, longtubes, pro chamber, flowpath dumps, mac uppers and lowers+ pinion snubber, underdrive pullies, 70mm t-body, 190 lph penis pump, mildly home ported E7'S by the kid hisself, nitto drag radials..... 13.4 @ 106......... on nitto drag raidials. spinning like gangbusters...... chevy silverado w/ a full works suzuki RM 250 and a full works honda fourtrax 250R (girlfriends bike) in the back, moto x'in it up bro! |

I run about 17# in mine. Works pretty well for me. I got my best 60ft to a 1.84. I launch at 4000rpm's also.

I used to run mine at around 20psi on the street & 17-18psi at the track. They are great tires. I went a best of 1.749 60 ft with them (245/50/16's).

I ran my best 60ft with my nittos at 20#'s a 2.0 60ft on an 88 vert with stock suspension. They are excellent tires if you know how to drive. You have to use alot of clutch or you will light them up just like regular tires...
