Viper Crash!
Here's a load of pictures taken right after a Viper crashed. Someone said that they were running the thing on the President George Bush Tollway in Texas I think and probably lost road contact, rolled over 1 and 1/2 times and slid for a while, bouncing off the divider and safety rails a few times...
Warning: Some of these are gory. http://www.car-audio.net/viper/

I've seen several Vipers on George Bush Freeway, but none that ever looked like that!

Look like they both lived to me, just messed up that's all. Very lucky! But, that's what happens when you don't respect the power under the hood unfortunately...

Damn that was one bad wreck. Did anyone happen to notice the pic(file name P9030067) showed that the E-Brake was on. Makes you wonder what they were doing to cause the accident.

I think it's illegal to put cars into the salvage yards that people died in. Don't they get automatically crushed?
I couldn't see the pics, took forever on dialup. |

Those passengers didnt look that bad considering what the car looked like. Do Vipers have any sort of rollbar? Ive always wondered what sort of difference a rollcage would make in a wreck like this. Would having a bent up cage make it harder for rescuers to get you out? I wonder who the person was who wanted so many close up shots of this stuff. I had a close call racing Sat night, so Im paranoid right now.

The driver probably pulled the brake up in a panic to aid in stopping. I don't see how they lived after looking at that car. I know they were praying all the way to the hospital. I also hope they weren't test driving someones car.
