Post Viper Not Willing To Race!?!

On my way to NC State the other day I was going down Highway 40 (if anyone know anything about North Carolina). Anyway I ran up on a 94 RT/10. It was slammed on the ground (like they aren't low enough already). Well I roll on by him and the guy with me was like see if wants to run a little. Well I slow down beside him and keep looking over. The guy had to be in his late 20's but would not pay me any attention. So I throw on the 4-ways. Still no response. Anyway I followed him for about 20 miles until he took an exit. I really what to run a little but oh well. I guess he didn't want to waste the gas on me.

a lot of viper owners are like that. we raced on with a 2000 4x4 v10 ford pickup that has 150 shot of nos on it, yeah we lost by about 4 cars but we were drunk and having a good time... ever been in a v10 when it took off in 4 wheel high spraying 150 nos? its kinda funny

What a loser, I find nothing funny about drinking and driving. I've lost 2 good friends to drinking & driving and find nothing funny or cool about it at all.

Not sure what else this could mean....

"We" tends to include both driver and passenger last time I checked...

But.....whatever.......

People like you are don't ever listen to common sense anyway. Being as I'm moving back to Texas soon I do take this kinda personal. I have a pregnant wife going to be driving around.....get the picture?

Power, this is not meant to be a "putdown". Lots of us have driven when we shouldn't have. My advice is "Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house"

Power, I wasn't trying to pick on you. Just thinking of my own shortcomings.

No problem, when I was in high school I had a few times when I drove when I shouldn't have. I did come off kinda harsh so I apologized. I had my wake-up call the summer after I left school. 2 buddies both died in a one car wreck with alcohol involved.

No prob Rev, I can take some constructive critisism when I need it. just let me know when i get outta line...

Even if your comment wasn't meant for me it worked.

Being "drunk" and driving is bad, but if you have a little to drink I don't see the problem if you know the limit. But hey, if you know you are going to be drinking find someone to drive just to be on the safe side.

I don't drink and drive either, but it sure is fun being in a car hauling @ss when you're drunk and not driving. I had a friend with a '67 mustang with a 289 and we were flying on a country road with me laughing hysterically in a drunken stupor and he took corners at breakneck speeds in a horrible handling, 70 series tired classic stang. Ever gone 95 mph on a windy bumpy road? Something i'd NEVER do sober let alone be in a car doing that. Ahhh....high school memories...lol. Drinking and driving is bad, 5 kids from my old HS died this year from drinking and driving. not the way to go, in my opinion.
