I don't know, but I've heard from more than one 4.6 owner that they have a harder time getting power out of the things.

Every car is different, I ran against a bone stock 97 when my 94 only had 3:55 gears and a K&N air filter and I got smoked. At the same time, I could run against other 4.6's with at least flowmasters and I'd smoke them. Now though, I've done some more work and I can't get anyone to go up against me anymore. Even the cocky little rice burners don't look twice when I pass them.

I just think most of it is the driver.

94 GT underdrive pulleys, cold air K&N, 70mm throttle body, BBK equal length headers, bassani x-pipe w/high flow cats, flowmaster 2chambers. (I must admit it's an automatic, but at least it has a shift kit.)
