Post Watch out. :)

I spent all day today changing my oil to synthetic, changing all my plugs, and wires. Cleaned my K/N. Pulled the radiator and put in a new electric fan.

My old plugs looked good and all, but I guess I just needed a general tune up cuz my car runs like crazy! This is how it used to run! I forgot how fast it used to be. It scared the **** out of me. I let my friend drive it and I was so scared in the passenger seat and I had to make him stop!

Woo Hoo, Carlsbad and 12's here I come.

Hehehe...I know that feeling. It's been sunny the fast few days so I've had the 'stang out. Man I forgot how fast it was. Almost bagged a new camaro SS today...but he wouldn't race me. He just wanted to play around, running in and out of traffic. We had a few chances to line up but he wouldn't go. I'll catch him sooner or later though.

Yeah I am. The only thing is a wish I could get all the creeks and squeekes out of it over bumps. Maybe its the super stiff suspension.

We'll march 24th you'll know what these TFS heads can do. Rev weren't you going to buy some?

Yes Sky, I'm still looking towards the TFTW in the future. $$$. Looks like I'll need $1800 for this little project including heads, gaskets, pushrods, Roller R's, new head bolts, Tall valve covers, and a little clean up work on the heads themselves. Should be good for 30-40 HP though. Might get me into mid 13's I'm hoping. Maybe this year.

hey sky, when we get out there on the 24th of march, we should run ours together...I hope to be breaking into the 12's myself! (the 150 shot o nitrous feels UNBELIEVABLE now!)
I went and tuned mine today...BIG difference also! I removed my quad shocks and now know why I had such a hooking problem...it hooks so much better now!

hey are you going to make it out on the 24th of feb too?

Sounds good ed! What all do you have done to your car? I really wish I could get mine tuned, I know I could get a lot more power out of it. I've been all over on fuel pressure and timing. From 12degrees to 23 degrees initial and from 36 psi to 50psi on the fuel pressure. I'm just not sure whats right.

So removing the quad shocks helped your launch?

yeah, removing the shocks was like night and day! I can physically feel the car transfering the weight...before my car would just spin em!
