went to lacr and raced a 96 gt with a vortech!
 

I went to lacr on saturday. pretty much the crappiest track in socal for times as it's hot and nearly 3000ft elevation but! I raced a 96 stang with a x pipe, catback, and a vortech SQ model. he said he was making like 6lbs of boost or so(stock pulley) and dynoed at 287rwhp at powertrain dynamics! well we lined up!
The light turns and we are off! I beat him with a 14.0 at 100mph to his 14.77 @ 95mph! we both had a 2.20 60ft. I pulled him pretty good through 2nd and 3rd! not really a great time for my car or his but it was good fun. there was alot of stangs on saturday!

Did he miss 2 gears???? or what.... did he realy have a Super or was that talk?? any how Sounds fun;)

yea, he had a blower, we were checking out each others cars way before we ever lined up. no he didn't miss any gears! the 96-98 heads suck the big one and really limit the blowers potential. he normally is in the 13's as am I, but lacr sucks for et's! we have nearly the same hp so I'm not really sure why i beat him by that much?

ya his car must have been not run great .7 is alot for 2 cars so closely power New car you have a N/A and you beat him I bet he was happy to see you HEHE
