Question What do you guys think I'd run...?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has an estimate of the times I'd run. mainly for the 1/4. all I have for mods right now are on my signature...but over the winter I'm buying a TransGo shift kit...some tires...hopefully the comp t/a's..i hope they will fit or I'm open to suggestions for the tires...I want some Drag radials tho...not slicks. I wanna have them on at all times not just for the weekend. and then a set of headers...right now I think I run a 15.4 or so...it's a convertible...whaddya guys think? and any suggestions for mods? cause i'll have money since the stang will be garaged...maybe a torque converter...thanx.

You will run a 15.4 at best and a 15.7 at worst.

Dont waste money on headers at this point. Get a torque converter an off road X-pipe and underdrive pullies as your next mods they will give you alot of bang for the buck. You will also need subframe connectors (for sure) on your vert.

Out of all of the mods that I have done the off road X-pipe and the underdrive pulis gave me the most gain.

As far as the tires go you need some 245 wide nitto drag radials for the track and street they give good performance at the track and are stil a good street tire.

My guess would be a 15.0-15.5:
My sons 1989 AOD equipped LX ran a 14.9 with these mods:
B-303 cam
Valve work on the heads
Mac shorty headers
Dynomax mufflers
3.73 gears.
After removing the gears the car went 15.4 and these times are from Lebanon Valley Dragway.

If you have around 4000 plus...get the stage 3 induction kit from Brothers performance. It will give you around 95 hp at the wheels, if you order it with the heads and intake ported...along with some other induction stuff. This includes most of my mods except of course for my block....be sure to get some gears to wake it up if you decide on this one. It is all emissions legal too---I hope

i'd say 15 flatish IF you don't spin. With FMS "b" springs, rear upper and lowers, my 90lx aod vert ran a best of 15.2@92.25
