Default What happened to this forum?

When I used to come here there was at least 2 pages of posts with quite a few new ones every day and now just 12 posts. Where did everyone go? Does no one street race anymore? Well I sure as hell still do. Glad to see posts by rev and ezriden still too! Anyway had a run in with an eclipse turbo the other day. Guy getting in his car at school same time as i'm getting in mine. I hear them talking about how he spanks 5.0's etc. So i roll up next to him and say let's go. We went to the i-35 feeder and I waited till I heard him get on it so he didn't whine about me having the jump. He hit and then I hit it in first at about 15-20. No contest. I pulled 2-3 cars up to 60 when he let off. We went again from a 40 wher ehe did a little better but I still had him by 3 cars at 90. Only thing he had was a few stickers and a fart muffler that I could tell.

Yeah, winter kills this forum and as soon as everyone warms up and some get their cars out of storage I'm sure this forum will shoot right back up again. ~Brian

Yeah, man winter has been a real PITA this year. Take a look at this picture of my front lamp post about 3 weeks ago...keep in mind, this is an 8' post!

Now that's alot of freaking snow!

Oh well, it's finally spring (technically). Hopefully the forum will pick-up.

Ya think maybe some folks have wised up and decided street racing in not one of the smartest things to do?

Street racing has been happening since the Chevrolet brothers gained fame racing Model T's. Not likely to go away now.

Yeah, it's monsoon season up here in seattle so all we get is rain...hard to get traction in rain up till about 80mph or so....that's when the car starts to hydroplane and swerve uncontrollably

There's been some nice weather so i've gotten to run around a bit, but no bites as of yet, even so most "street racers" are fart pipers.
