What Should It Run???

The car is an '89 5.0 LX with an AOD:
It went 14.9 in 70-75 degree heat with these mods:
-B-303 cam
-3 angle valve job on stock heads
-Intake Spacer
-1 5/8" Mac headers
-Dynomax Mufflers
-3.73 gears
What should it run after these mods:
-B&M shift kit
-2400 Stall Torque Converter
-Tranny Oil Cooler
-Mac H-pipe
-Flowmaster cat back
-And Hopefully 150 lbs less weight.
I would assume 14.5, but I have no experience with automatics.

the shift kit and stall converter will be the biggest thing that will help you. you might want to look into a higher rpm converter? maybe about 3000rpm's, and go with precision industries. i ran a 14.9 with stock gears, and a few more mods (see sig). i think with the converter and shift kit along with the reduced weight, you could see 14.5

I don't know if you'll see 14.5 but you may. I think you will be around 14.6-14.7. You're headed in the right direction. I had a B&M 2400 stall and loved it. I had a 3000 on my current combo and backed it down to 2800(PI).

HiFlow5 0, Man!! You got a good combo working up and your times are not good. I think the 70tb is too big but even so.. you put some heads, 3.73s and a 2400 stall and I'll bet money you're mid-high 13s(with traction). With what you have already, those heads are really slowing you down.

I use a TCI 2500 stall and a B&M shift kit with my C-4. Even though I like the way the transmission fucntions, I got little if any actual improvement in my time slips at the track.
