What is up with caddy?

Have yall heard that cadilliac is making a V16 car with 1000hp? Old people will still drive 20 MPH under the speed limit.

It's a pure concept car, but definately cool....

Do I ever expect to see any on the road? Not really....

Can you imgine how much it would cost to produce those things?

I'd also like to see how the engineers would expect to put 1000 horses reliably to the ground in a luxury car chassis....

I can see it now... Oops, Sorry Officer, I accidentally put the accelerator down more than 1 centimeter... that explains the 110mph radar slip... hehe

The radio people talking about it said that it is going to be like $250,000.

I'm pretty sure that they won't be selling a 1000hp anything to the public. It has to be just a concept car or a one time prototype...the smog laws & insurance costs for a car with that much power, would never let that car go into production.

While the about mentioned car is only a concept, Caddy DOES have a car that's based on a Corvette chassis, that I believe is scheduled to be released in 04.

yeah that car is a reality. northstar powered but chassis is all vette. cadillac is also going to have a new cts called the cts-v. it will have the ls1 and avail. 6spd.
