Default Will this technique work to win a street race?

I've been convinced by all you guys that anything goes in a street race, it's "run what'cha brung". Goofy gadgets, naaawwzzzz, boosters, power adders, slicks and all that are part of the game. What about high explosives that accidentally ignite your competitor's car, instead of propelling yours ahead at warp 9? Kinda like a rocket engine gone awry....

So, I'm wondering if this would be considered fair too? :

I could dig it. Course, with my kevlar insulated land-mine resistive under panning (also cuts wind drag under the car and dropped .5 off my quarter), you'd have to have a pretty good charge.

Just make sure there aren't any cops around. Oh, but the DOT might get a little upset for the new pinto-sized potholes.
