Post You guys with 94-95 GT's

My 95GT/T-5 is four weeks old (to me). I'm curious to hear what mods you guys have on yours and how they run. I've heard they don't idle well with aftermarket cams on the factory PROM. Good or bad experiences from you guys? Anyone coming close to the 12 second mark yet? You can e-mail me if you like. See my profile for the addy.

12.9 @ 110.6 with crappy driver (ME) and 4lbs of boost.

I'm going to the track next week with the 9lb pulley and a little more drag racing under my belt.

I'm looking for low 12's at 114 or so.

A good friend has a 94 GT. Here are his mods:

Edelbrock 6037 heads (unported)
Cobra intake (unported)
Steeda #19 cam
Crane Cobra rockers (1.7 ratio)
ProM 75 mass air meter and 24# injectors
70mm throttle body
home made cold air kit (PVC from Home Depot)
1-5/8" shortie headers
off road pipe
Flowmaster 2 chamber cat-back kit
3.73 gears

His car runs great and idles perfectly. Still gets really good gas mileage on the highway (around 21 mpg I think). His best run is 12.59 @ 108.7 mph. This was on street tires, he is a really good driver.

Cool

I had a TFS Stage 1 cam in my 94 until this weekend (Motor went south, Doing autopsy next weekend). I had idling problems and surging. A JMS chip helped, but didn't cure it. Make sure you use a cam that has a lobe seperation of at least 114 degrees. I hear that the Steeda #19 cam is a good choice. I'm putting a stock motor in for now, so I will not have that problem.
