Wink young teenage punks feel my wrath

Today had a new clutch put in my car and was feeling a bit froggy. I was on my way home from dropping off the rent check and these young kids in a 93 model gt start messing with me. They jumped on it a few times and threw some revs. So at the next light I was able to get next to them. They said the 94-95 mustangs are real slow. I said let's find out. I pointed straight ahead and the teenage kid starts to rev. We take off when the light turns green. I take off slow and shift to 2nd gear and hit my nitro button and I left them so fast they were a blur in my mirrors. At the next light I told the passanger I guess they are not all too slow now are they. He gave me the thumbs up and we went our seperate ways. Gotta love it!!

Yep, I did not realize my clutch was only capable of handling 350 hp. Have a centerforce dual friction now. Hope it holds. This darn thing is getting too expensive now.

I am finding out the hard way about modding a car. Once you put mods on it is a non-stop ordeal keeping it up. I told my wife I could easily put 30 grand into my car without even thinking twice. She told me I was nuts. I do plan on buying a Cobra R and keeping it stock for my daily driver and making my 95 a drag only vehicle.

Why won't mine die? I'm still running my stock tranny and stock clutch.......I want to upgrade to a tremec and cf dual friction, but I'd rather not until I roast the clutch and blow up my tranny. Are they that hard to kill?

My friend has a 377 stroker and he has the stock T5. He runs 10.43 @ 129. It has worked for about 4 months now. He doesnt power shift it though. I think that is the key to keeping a T5 alive. Just dont powershift to much. On the other hand i have broken 2 this year. Once in third on the bottle. Right before shifting to 4th the input shaft gear broke all of the teeth off. Man, what a noise.

And more to come.
